Belly to Belly... Maternity Wardrobe Consulting
Have you ever looked in your closet and thought, “I have all these clothes and nothing to wear?” We all have days like this, but for the pregnant woman, this may actually be true. Or, she’s been given a trash bag of hand-me-downs from her aunt’s last pregnancy seven years ago. From an economical standpoint, it seems daunting to purchase a whole new wardrobe for clothes you may only wear six or seven months, especially when you have received clothes from others. Maternity apparel has become fashion forward within the last couple of years. Hand-me-down fashions tend to scream in a matronly manner “I’m pregnant!” while the fashions of today compliment and celebrate the pregnant figure. What to do with all the clothes your relatives and friends have kindly passed down to you? Introducing “Belly to Belly”, a maternity wardrobe consulting program offered exclusively at Belle Maman.
At Belle Maman, expectant women can bring any previously worn maternity clothes to be examined for proper fit and current fashion relevance. The staff will help women determine what clothes one should keep and what must go. Older clothing styles can be updated when paired with the right new pieces. Belle Maman specializes in stylish fashions which are comfortable and can be worn everyday and can update your lightly worn maternity wardrobe. The “Belly to Belly” program also offers customers the opportunity to do goodwill. All discarded clothing will be donated to the Hope Center in Beaumont, a safe haven for women facing crisis pregnancy. Women can also bring their lightly used maternity clothing to Belle Maman after their pregnancy to be donated to the Hope Center. Call Belle Maman at 409-860-7175 for more information or to make a "Belly to Belly" appointment.
