Belle Beginnings

Belle Maman was born to Krista & Chris Oliphant in July of 2004. Krista had been disappointed with the selection of maternity clothes in Beaumont during her first two pregnancies. Having a knack for fashion and an entrepreneurial spirit, Krista decided to open her own maternity boutique out of her home where customers could shop by appointment only.

After a year of being in business, Krista was faced with a dilemma to open a storefront or close her doors. After much prayer and encouragement from the community, Belle Maman opened with a storefront on September 7, 2005.

The store atmosphere has a fresh, yet vintage feel complete with a children’s play area for moms to shop while little ones stay occupied. What started as a dream in Krista’s home has blossomed into Beaumont’s #1 place to shop for maternity and baby needs (2006 Beaumont Enterprise Reader’s Choice Awards).
